I Need The Name Of An Ocean Beach In Maryland...

Postby Tanjiro » Fri Jan 03, 2014 7:44 am

My pals husband was not too long ago diagnosed with stage 3 cancer...he has never ever been to the ocean, and would like to do so amongst sets of radiation treatment options. They have a relative in Maryland, so thought that they may head that way. Any recommendations? They would be driving from Ohio.

Ocean City is by far the most well-liked destination. Although there, tell them to verify out Assateague Island, which is right close to Ocean City.  They also have beaches and wild ponies that roam them. It really is really pretty.  NJrunr3 78 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment. Please confirm your account to give a compliment. Please sign in to send a message. Ocean City I took my high School Class trip to Ocean City, Maryland and we had a wonderful time.  It is not as crazy as some places, but there are a lot of "oceanside" things to do.  Great seafood restaurants, dolphin watch boat tours, boardwalk, etc.    My prayers and best wishes for you and your husband.   Google Map View Larger Map Mr.Chairman_is_Gone 78 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment. It?s rated one of the best beaches on the eastern seashore.   I had dear friends who went there every year for vacation.  There used to be a Polka Festival there for a week each summer.  Polka lovers came from all over to attend.   I am so sorry to hear about your friends? diagnosis.  I hope he gets his dream vacation at the beach.

Maryland has at least 27 lighthouses, including one replica of a historic lighthouse at Baltimore and a facsimile lighthouse built near Annapolis. In addition, one historic lightship is preserved in Maryland. 16 of the lighthouses are active. All the lighthouses are on the Chesapeake Bay or its tributaries, since Maryland?s short Atlantic coast has no light stations. The two sides of the Chesapeake are known in Maryland as the Eastern Shore and the Western Shore.

Ocean City If you like people and boardwalks then Ocean City, MD is good.  I take my kids there most every summer and we just hang out on the beach and boardwalk, swim, and take in the good food at local restaurants(nice big breakfasts).  There are also plenty of art oriented stores... I like that.   JayD 78 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment. Please verify your account to give a compliment. Please sign in to send a message. Please verify your account to send a message.
