I've Been In Business Since 2004 Under The Name "thai Orchid". Recently We Received A Letter From The Lawyer Representin

Postby Fionn » Thu Jan 23, 2014 1:32 am

I've been in business since 2004 under the name "Thai Orchid". Recently we received a letter from the lawyer representing "Wild Orchid" Bar/restaurant. They threaten to take legal actions if we do not drop the word "Orchid" from "Thai Orchid". The reason being that because they were incorporated in 1996, they have the exclusive rights to use the word and any variation thereof. Is this legal? What should we do? Any advice is appreciated.
