I want to keep dogs out of my yard but not cats, what will work?

I care for some stray cats and we have no leash laws. The dogs have been coming around this area more frequently. I live in an apartment with no pets contract. Wondering if I can use an automatic dog whistle to keep these cats safe. If not, what will work?

Let the, bond together.It is a myth that dogs and cats hate each other.If they meet in a young age,they will become bff's.

Since it is not really your yard, I don't see how. Before I read the whole question, I was going to suggest a fence with a cat door or cat sized opening.

cats can jump pretty much any fence or slip under it. mine slides under my gate and its only like 2 inches off the ground
