I would like to move to Canada but what course should I take?

Postby yehudi » Sun Jul 22, 2012 4:16 pm

I would like to get an Associates in Science in the United States and move to Canada to attend a college there to obtain a Bachelor's in Biology. I would also like to get a job there to support myself while I am in college and after I finish. I would also like to apply for permanent residence so that I can later apply for citizenship.

For anyone who has experience in migrating to Canada or have some knowledge on immigration laws and procedures in Canada, can you please advise me on what I should do?

Thanks in advance;-)

No! Student visas are temporary NON-immigration class of visas. There are no jobs for someone with a bachelors degree in biology. No Canadian employer can hire any foreign worker without first proving that there are no Canadian citizens or legal residents qualified & available for the job. There are plenty of Canadians with bachelor degrees, including biology, looking for work. They could never get authorization to hire a foreigner with such a degree and no experience, no expertise, no exceptional qualifications that Canadians lack. You have to return to your country of citizenship. Jobs are getting scarce in Canada, and employers will not consider job applications from persons without legal authorization to work in Canada - i.e. citizenship or a legal immigration status which includes authorization to work.
