If a person answers to my e-mail, and if I reply, am I spamming?

If a person answers to my e-mail, and if I reply, am I spamming?

Hi, one person and I are having a little debate online. I always end with the sentance, "If you do not answer back to me, you will not hear from me again". He answers back always by e-mail, trying to get in the last word, and says "leave me alone".

My question is, if he answers back to me, AND then I answer to him (both are using e-mail), am I spamming? Anyone knows the law on this one? Thanks for your help!

This is on an individual level. There is not an applicable law. This is known as a conversation, a slightly immature one impo, with little difference between an in person conversation other than text instead of speech. When someone says leave me alone that is EXACTLY what I do. It is a matter of respect that you may learn as you get older. You're obviously still a kid/teen and as time goes on this type of issue won't even matter.
