In the USA the 'closest' answer is 'a', but it's not really accurate.

In the USA an injured worker is automatically entitled to the full cost of all his medical treatment, plus a percentage of his lost wages. Doesn't matter if the injury is 'serious' or not. In theory if you get a blister on your finger and cover it with a band-aid that you have in your purse, you can require your employer to reimburse you the cost of the band-aid.
