If enlisted in the Army, is the annual Dental/Medical checkup required to be a military doctor/dentist?

I'm not enlisted in the Army yet, but I'm strongly considering joining within the next six months. I know that all the health care is free, but from what I've heard, sometimes the actual care is not the greatest out there. I just read another question on here about somebody who wants to sue the Army Dental for malpractice. Anybody know?
