If I'm being sued in small claims court and I see to it personally that the plaintiff doesn't make it to court?

Lets say I am being sued in small claims court for a private debt by an ex. I am being sued, for, lets say $2000.

So what I do is, on the morning of the court date, I go to her house, gag her and tie her up, so she's not going anywhere. And of course I wear gloves.

Then I show up to defend the suit, ready to deny everything. Five minutes pass....ten minutes pass.... finally it is clear that the plaintiff is a no show. Case dismissed, judgement in favor of defendant by default.

(In my county, that is how the small claims court system works. No shows result in default judgement in favor of the other party. And if they schedule a court date for you, and you don't show up, they won't schedule another one for you for the same issue as it will be recorded as decided and dismissed.) )

Then I go back to my ex's place, let her out and take all the evidence and leave.

And when she goes to the police with this wild tale, I'm like "What a ridiculous fiction! If you are too embarrassed to admit you overslept, then at least come up with a realistic story."

And she'll have no evidence to back up her incredible accusation.

Lol could that work.

No, it couldn't.

And the hearing would be reopened once she reports you to the police for interference. You'd also be facing a host of other criminal charges.

lol. this would never work, i think u would rather just pay 2000 dollars then hav yur bail set at 12,000 dollars, there is no such thing as the perfect crime. u will defiantly get caught. :D. let me tell u 2000 dollars is nothing, jail is tough, and guess wat, wen u get out of jail, u will still owe 2000 dollars. good plan though, just not to realistic. :)
