You can be evicted for being one second late the first time. Wouldn't you be pissed if your employer said, "Well, I don't have the money to pay you today, how does next week sound?" Especially if he did it every single paycheck?
Sorry, but you are effectively violating your lease by stealing your landlord's income every month. He doesn't have to put up with it, and it sounds like he is done. With an eviction on your record, you are going to find it very difficult finding a decent place to rent for the next 10-20 years. You will also have a huge ding on your credit for the next 7-10 years for the lawsuit coming your way. Your wages will probably be garnished, as well, which is grounds for termination in some states.
