Corporate law can be a fascinating career, but it's also very competitive, so be sure you're really committed.

Get good grades, and consider getting your undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, Accounting, or Business. If you decide not to take a degree in Criminal Justice, be sure to supplement your education with undergraduate law classes.

If you'd like to read more info about what it's like being a Corporate Lawyer, check out this article:

Hope it helps! Good luck.

You can apply to law school with any bachelor's degree. Law schools generally prefer traditional majors - skip "criminal justice" or "legal studies." Don't bother with a pre-law program either, as those are pretty useless. But generally any bachelor's degree will work.

If you are set on corporate law you'll be in a better position with an undergraduate degree in finance or accounting. You don't need it - you can go into corporate law regardless of background - but it will make you more competitive in an EXCEPTIONALLY competitive field.

I assume you're several years away from law school at this point. Please make sure to do your research before you apply - this is not something you want to go into blindly.

Any liberal arts education would be the very best.
