If in process of eviction if the rent is payed can it be stop?

Only if the landlord chooses to do so. Since the rent is late that is grounds enough to sue for the eviction
Make sure you include late fees.

No, it is completely up to your landlord whether or not he wants to accept anything from you and stop the eviction. Paying all backrent and late fees may not be enough; if he has already filed, then he is also out the cost of filing. You can expect to pay this, too.

If this is not the first time you have been late, I can just about guarantee you that nothing will stop your landlord from evicting you. He needs to get a paying tenant in ASAP.

Paying up back rent and late fees won't stop an eviction every single time.

Let's say an otherwise good and trusting long term tenant hits a rough patch and pays his rent late one time. A smart landlord will let that go after the rent is paid up.

But what if a tenant is always late with rent and always has to be hounded to pay it and finally the landlord gets fed up with chasing down the rent every month? That landlord should conclude the rent he collects is not worth the trouble so he evicts.

Yes ..If you pay the rent then it must stop.. I would assume the eviction is because of past due rent, so if the rent is paid then the eviction isn't valid.
