If someone lies and gives you a negative comment on e bay saying this person sells stolen items is it slander?

My girl friend just received a negative feedback comment on EBAY about an item she sold and we just found out the person who bought it is a girl who dislikes my girlfriend and just to be mean she wrote that my girlfriend sells stolen items in her feedback.( no evidence and my girl actually has receipts for the items she sells) Anyway it is a lie and will cause her to lose money. Does this qualify for slander???

Yes it is slander IF you can prove she said those negative words.
