Does this mean that the system of checks and balances has fallen by the wayside, at least partially? I don't know if a branch government can even be effective anymore...can it? Look what happened with the ruling yesterday by the Supreme Court on Affordable Health Care. We got a watered down version that sucks and will only cost regular people more money (while the fat cats get richer....and that is the Democrats AND Republicans fault.....Obama lost my confidence when he wouldn't cap malpractice insurance because of his defense attorney donors).

Just another reason for the American Voter to throw them out of power in November.

What is scary is the simple fact that this scheme was a Bush plan that was castrated by local authorities who refused to cooperate with the Feds in the plan!

And what is equally scary is how close we came to shutting down several drug smuggling gangs. That is, until the GOP got all self righteous and afraid that the plan would work!

Now hundreds of people and thousands of hours of undercover work are ruined thanks to a pack of useless Republican hand puppets in the House. Shame on them all!
