Im contesting a traffic citation in court and need some help?

i got cited for failing to obey a traffic control device. i was going north on the road and had a green light, but this other driver comes out of nowhere and smacks into my car. im not 100% certain what direction she was going (whether or not she blatantly ran her light, or went through to make a right hand turn to end up in my lane and just wasnt paying attention). either way, i got cited for doing something i didnt do so im contesting it in court. plus, the cop who gave me the ticket wasnt there. he spoke to a few "witnesses" that he didnt include on the police report. ive never been to traffic court before so i need to know how things are going to work. the trial is coming up soon and i really want to hit the nail on the head with everything im going to say. so what is the court procedure and how should i present my case?

Well, you could go to the local law library and study the local court trial procedure. Or, you could hire an attorney.
