In terms of intellectual property on a registered design, how different does a design need to be?

I am currently having a discussion with a rights owner of a desing of a particular tent. The tent we sell is somewhat different although used for the same purpose but the rights owner keeps having our listing removed as online websites remove straight away without investiagting the matter as these matters are too complex for them.

Our tent has windows in it which the registered design does not, is this enough to mean it is a completely new design and the registered one does not apply to us therefore we are not ifnringing anyones rights?

Thanks
