Im 20. and will most likely work in one of those two work settings.
Alot depends on where you are applying to. I have a son who is a cop. They don;t allow any tats unless they can be covered up.

Alot depends on where you are applying to. I have a son who is a cop. They don;t allow any tats unless they can be covered up.
No. A lot of law enforcement agencies won't hire anyone with visible tattoos. You need your tattoos to be able to be covered by your uniform. So a big "no" to your knuckle tattoo.

Like everyone said alot of job these days dont allow visable tatoos I work in a cubical and I have one on my foot and have to keep it covered. So think of a less visable place.

Have you ever seen tv shows or movies about lawyers at trial? A lawyer will say something improper. The other lawyer will object and the judge will tell the jury to ignore it. But even though the evidence was ruled inadmissable, there may be grounds to appeal on the theory that no bell can be unrung. Its like someone telling you not to think of a pink elephant. It's impossible because the thought is already there.

That would be the same kind of thing with a tattoo promoting drug free. The very mention on your knuckles give undue suggestion to the topic of drugs. Quite frankly its a dumb idea, and no law firm would ever consider hiring someone with a knuckle tattoo.
