I found this question and answer postings here http://www.wikilaw3k.org/forum1/Law-Enforcement-Police/What-exactly-is-mail-tampering-Can-I-file-charges-582614.htm which I had previously viewed on yahoo answers here http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100910100236AAB1viA . Isnt this property of Yahoo once its posted on this website?

You don't know that. Maybe, they have permission from Yahoo. For all you know that answers might of been copy and paste from some other website.

No, the copyright of all questions and answers on Yahoo!Answers remain the "property" of the individual members. However, under the terms and conditions, we LICENSE Y!A to distribute them to others, and to sublicense certain other websites to republish them. If the websites you find are not licensed by Y!A, then they are actually infringing the copyrights of the original members who posted the questions and answers.

I have found my own answers cut and pasted on other websites and have sent notices of copyright violation to the webmasters' registered copyright agents so that they must disable those infringements.
