Is Hull University a good university?

I'm thinking of going into a sort of political aspect or business. A few of the degrees that interest me are;
- accounting
- finance
- economics
- law
-politics
- international relations

so yeah, I'm just curious in finding out whether the proffessors over there are good, the city and also if possible some experiences of ex students or current students.

I have only heard good things about the university of Hull but you should arrange to go on an open day so that you get a feel for the place.
