- Never wanting others around them to be happy or successful?
- Extremely critical of others including loved ones?
- Never satisfied with the efforts done by others?
- Cannot stand to see their children/friends successful
- If children/friends are successful they take full credit for it?
- They like to go around the city telling everyone what a trophy you are? Meanwhile while you were the one achieving the success you gained no esteem or praise from this person, except heavy criticism and disdain?
- Everyone is the problem and never them, always have something bad to say about everyone except themselves?
- Very self-absorbed refuse to pamper or give acceptable amounts of affection towards their children/friends when they need it?
- Places themselves, children and/or friends in life threatening situations, but will never admit to it
- Will spin a story and make themselves look like the real victims and anyone that opposes or confronts them, they will write off and slander them and tell everyone how that person wronged them?
- Obsession with money and will step on anyone to obtain this
- Will actively cause problems for others and will never admit this

Aries are self-absorbed in the sense that they are mostly self-interested.
I know many Aries who are somewhat emotionally cold. Men and women. I have to agree and say that they are not terrible people at all, they can actually be sweet and even generous but they will not always be there when you feel like you need them. And they rarely if ever give compliments, affection or encouragement to others, instead liking to be on the receiving end. In fact, most Aries I know are more critical than loving. I do think that their self-preoccupation makes them quite successful, but I never known them to get to a point where they have to step on people although there have been instances where they can be difficult to work with. But I think their distance from others is their self-isolation as an Aries. They are rams climbing a mountain, and it can be pretty lonely being up at the top.

I don't think Aries are that mean! You've got to give them some credit here. Sure Aries can be selfish sometimes, but that doesn't mean they are evil as you make them sound.

Okay, I'm not going to be like oh you suck, but maybe it's just something wrong with this Aries specifically. But, sometimes us Aries can be a little narcissistic, my mom tells me I am, I have an Aries Sun, Venus, and Saturn, but my moon and ascendant is gemini and libra. See, right there how I just had to say something about myself. It's like we can't help but talk about ourselves. All of the things you said about this Aries is insane, but a FEW I can relate to, but maybe it's just something wrong with this one.

There's positive and negatives to every sign. I have had two Aries friends over the years. My one aries friend is extremely distant emotionally wise and she will put her needs ahead of everyone. She's not really cold hearted in a sense that she will never tell you good things about you but in a way I almost feel like when you need her she's not there and this isn't something that you can change about someone. She will eventually come around but she's not really going to be there at the time in some respect. She will give when she feels like it and I find this also comes from a place of control too. I do think they are sensitive, sweet and thoughtful people. I also find them deep which I enjoy but to the extent that they let you in- it almost seems they keep you at a distance.

I find aries are straightforward and easy to approach when it comes to problems though- my experience. I just find them not emotionally close. I don't like that.

The other Aries girl I knew would never go out of her way for you, everything ran on her schedule and she had people tell her this in this past. I just don't think they can help it. It's something in their nature and what makes them who they are.
