Is it legal for CPS took take my children with out an investigation?

CPS in Wagoner, Oklahoma, I don't even live in that county, took my 22 month old and my 10 month old based on hearsay of two people that barely knew me, one was a distant cousin and they other was her ex- sister in law. They alleged that I was using drugs and I passed a drug test the next day. I didn't get to see my kids for Thanksgiving or at all since these two people got my chi;children placed with them, on top of everything they separated my girls, couldn't they at least keep them together if they are going to take them from the only other two people that they have ever been with? I need help I don't know if there is anything that I can do hopefully you will know

CPS will not act to seize children simply on the unsubstantiated word of one person. They need more complete evidence than that.

In any event, this type of seizure is temporary, pending full hearings on the status of the children. If you are anything less than 100% guilty, you'll get them back.

There is more to this, because it doesn't work that way. CPS will not just swoop in and grab kids because a distant relative says you did drugs. If they did, every child in this country would be in foster care.
