Is it wise to take classes from multiple areas during master of laws education?

I applied and got offers from general programs which allow me to choose different classes instead of a single area.However i am worried that taking an intellectual property class along with international trade and sale of goods and electronic commerce classes would prevent me from finding a good job.Someond warned me that employers dont prefer people with little information about different stuff but instead they want lawyers to have a single expertise? What should ? do?
