Hello there.
I'm from Europe, Portugal to be precise, and I was wondering if Macau accepts immigrants from Europe.
Macau as a former colony is becoming practically Chinese, due to the max influx of Chinese immigration, from the mainland to the insular area. Thus, the elimination of the remaining Portuguese patrimonial fragments.
I was wondering if the Macanese of today are welcoming towards Westerners?
I really want to move to Asia, but it seems that Macau is decided to transform itself in some sort of "Asian Las Vegas".
- Are the immigration laws soft brand on the Portuguese, under any international ties or treaties?
- Can I as non-Cantonese/Mandarin speaker get a job in Macau?
(I was thinking in enrolling in the touristic sector of Macau, as I'm able to speak English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French and Deutsche)
I don't know what to ask, I think there's something missing.
Please feedback in any way you think it might help.
Thanks.
