Is the return of the Paul Ryan plan to kill Medicare further proof the GOP is trying to lose the elections?

Let's see. They've attacked seniors, teachers, children, fire fighters, police officers, collective bargaining, the middle class, women, immigrants. Did I leave anything out? Now they're coming back to the un-winable attack on Medicare. All this seems to play right into the president's message about them wanting the poor, the middle class, and seniors to sacrifice to overcome the deficit while there is no sacrifice by the rich. While they want to give the rich more EVEN MORE tax breaks. I can't see any other reason for these odd actions as they try to win the White House and keep the House. Do you?

They sure seem to not want to be elected. I think the women thing will be the swing issue. From what I've read, a lot of con women are pissed off and leaning to the left.

If they want to save Medicare, they can just make Medicare available for all people. Problem solved.

Trying to privatize it with the voucher system will destroy it because seniors will not be able to get insurance. (What private business is going to insurance old people with lots of medical problems.) What will happen is a bunch of seniors will die for lack of medical care. Anyone who supports that system clearly doesn't give a crap about seniors and wants them dead.

Congressman Ryan is trying to save Medicare by making it sustainable and giving people more choice. His whole budget proposal is brilliant, and desperately needed.

But I'm not surprised that such an ignorant, ill-informed question would come from someone who uses a hate-mongering, foul mouthed, extremist moron for an avatar.

Ryan and his wacky pals seem to think that by only destroying Medicare for future seniors (those under 55 now) they can get away with it. Apparently they believe that seniors, a powerful voting block, are so selfish they will say "it doesn't affect me, so go ahead and kill it".

This is NOT a plan to kill Medicare. It is a plan to save it. Are you really so dense as to not know that Medicare is going broke? Why do Democrats insist on pushing the problems so far that it will be catastrophic when the problem is finally addressed?

Actually it is more of a Boehner problem than an election issue . Everyone knows the Ryan Plan is ridiculous and going nowhere in the Senate . It is a maneuver for Ryan and the reich wing to push Boehner out . Just politics . Watch your back Boehner !

So, someone offers a solution to get us back on a balanced budget and you're complaining instead of offering an alternative. There's a reason you're not winning people over to the dark side.

He is not going to kill it. He just wants to turn it in a system where the federal government pays subsidies to private companies.
You're right he is going to kill it.
