It's doubtful that an individual will work for YOU for free to get your little ones back(take a look at my post in your other question for far more info). In truth, I can pretty assure it. You can, nonetheless, get a "guardian ad litem" appointed for your kids. This individual will not necessarily give your children back to you, but s/he will be appointed to advocate in the greatest interest of the youngsters. It may be that the Guardian will figure out that neither you nor your ex is appropriate for parenting, and your youngsters will be thrown in foster care or offered to a relative(your mom, your ex's parent....).There are locations that support low-revenue folks with their custody battle, but usually the sources are reserved for the children. Excellent luck. Call Child Protective Services in the county and do not hang up until you get some names!

Here are some ways to find a pro bono lawyer You don't provide a state, so I can't be very specific. But here are some ways to find a free lawyer: 1) Call a local law school and ask for the "family law clinic." These are law students that represent people for free under the supervision of a law professor. 2) Call Legal Aid/Legal Services(whatever it is called in your area). These are groups that provide free lawyers to people with limited money. Look them up in the phone book. 3) Call local lawyers. Be up front -- say you can't pay, and you are looking for pro bono representation. 4) Call the local or state bar association and ask for a pro bono referral. doodle12 replied to post #1: 4 Nothing happened, the police said when they pulled up "it sounded like your son was being beaten with a stick, but after talking to the father who stated he was "just throwing a tantrum" they left. Nothing more happened. They said my son was screaming "I want to go home", so they stated to me that "the grass isn't always greener on the other side". Nothing more. They didn't even file a report because they believed the father. I have no idea how he is, I'm not allowed to call up there, per the fathers decision. So I have no idea how he is. 64 months ago

i agree. legal aid might not be able to help so much, but they might be able to point you toward someone who can.
