Flannery hails from an affluent background his family has a penthouse in New York City, A "country house" in the Catskills, a "beach house" in the Jersey Shore and a house in South Florida. his father is a multimillionaire union representative for the New York City Ironworkers where Flannery was working at the time of his arrest. From reading this story, he sounds like he was angry because someone was herassing his girlfriend.

I don't think he should have taken it to that level of violence, he might benefit from anger management.
