Predator mentioned: 1 If something, there is nevertheless too small moderation on Askville, and what there is appears to be inconsistent.I sincerely doubt that we are becoming infiltrated by government agents, nevertheless. The Mod just sent me a PM telling me that they are presently fine-tuning their guidelines of moderation, and that they will be issuing a FAQ blog about them in the close to future. 48 months ago

What does Sunstein wanting to defuse conspiracy theory crackpots have to do with Askville moderation? The GNP police are more interested in turning the website into a protected haven for 8 year olds than pushing any distinct political agenda.

I've been pretty careful what I say on line since Sunstein was approved by the Senate. Having read his book, it's my opinion that he is the most dangerous man on the president's staff.  I drew from his book that 9/11 conspiracies are only a small part of who and what he intends to control.   I don't want to start a conspiracy theory of my own, but I think all of us on the conservative side of politics need to be careful what we say on line and what we forward to our friends.  I think a popular site like Askville would be a good starting place for someone that intent on controlling the thoughts of the people. Well, that could have something to do with it, I suppose, but I would be more inclined to believe it's just that people have trouble accepting differing beliefs and opinions, and use the abuse system in retaliation. I've not seen actual political belief statements removed here, true or untrue; it's mostly the reactions to the statements which involve personal attacks that are zapped, along with some fairly innocent comments that are pulled for unknown reasons, possibly in error.

But, , you, I, and everyone else here on Askville knows that is not what would happen. And half the folks here on Askville would immediately suspect the next step would be telling religions they're wrong and they need to stop saying that--or else. And some folks here would applaud that(Yikes!) In honor of the holiday, I'll instead let the dead speak for me. "I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. That is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant. ?Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at his Nobel Peace Prize Acceptance Speech, Dec. 10, 1964
