Well your question is very vague.

Trafficking in what?

If its Marijuana your troubles are much less than if it was Heroin. A sentence could range from probation to jail time depending on drug, quantity, armed or unarmed and many other factors.

I can tell you this, if one is charged under Federal Drug Trafficking laws, which many agencies do now while working in concert with the DEA.... they penalty is a minimum, mandatory 25 years in federal prison!

In GA, the First Offenders Act is a complete SHAM!! It does absolutely nothing. Your record will always show a First Offender deal - which is nothing to anyone doing a background check but the first conviction. Lawyers use this ploy to get you to take a deal - and don't tell you the truth. If you haven't taken it - don't. If you have, your life is ruined. Welcome to my world.
