I want to be a criminal defense attorney. Now, when most people graduate law school do they usually start working for a law firm or go in business for thereselves? What paths do most lawyers take when they are new to the career? Any info/help is appreicated. Thanks

For criminal defense law? You normally first work in the Public Defender's Office.
