Hi Manoj,

I have a query on Lease agreement for 9 Years.

Here is the detaiil-

I have a shop in a Shopping Mall and I want to give that shop for a Lease of 9 years with rent appreciation after every 3 years.

Now I just want to know what if I want to use my property after 9 years then is there  any  specific things that I need to talke care in this agreement?

and What are the  things that I should place in my agreememnt?'

Dear Shalbin Samuel

It is preferable that you give Lease for 11 months and renew the same. In that way the tenant cannot set up a claim under the tenancy laws. And if you want to terminate the lease agreement, you can from that time on use the shop for your own use.
