I just won a legal malpractice case. I was advised that it usually takes a few weeks to get the money. It has been a month now, how long does the losing firm have to pay?

I'd think it's about time. You should follow up and see what's holding things up. They will push it off as long as they can, if they can. One must stay on top of these things. If you have an attorney, contact them.
