What's wrong with it is that not all illegal immigrants are Hispanic. Thus, while the police will be more able to find and arrest those here illegally(and, yes, if they're breaking one law, they could well be breaking others), there will be other people who still won't be arrested. My oldest sister was briefly engaged to a man who was from Great Britain--illegally. I guess he came here on something or another and merely stayed, continuing to work like any other illegal immigrant, taking jobs from citizens. Then, one day, my sister answers the phone in his house and it's the guy's wife calling him all the way from England. Awkward. Telling. Indicative of the problem.
