Gun control laws would abolish crime because most if not all criminals are registered gun owners. Don't you agree? Let's ignore the fact that when Austrialia banned and confiscated fire arms rape and home invasion increased by 27%. Gun control would stop crime?

I wouldn't blatantly say that about all liberals (i'm actually a conservative).
Gun control would help in theory but if you take all guns away, then good people can't get them.
Criminals would still get guns no matter how they get it.
So to answer your question, no gun control has never worked for any society. People may say it has but just look at the ratios of their population to the crime, and compare it, and it's all the same.

That is true and reason why I wont be voting for Senator Durbin in my State of Illinois that cast the blow to the RTC being the law of the land and tell everyone in his District the lower part of Illinois vote him out. I also wont vote for any State officials that wont allow the RTC with Illinois being the ONLY State that wont allow it or respect the permits from other States that visit here. You have to leave your gun at the border and be helpless if attacked.

It doesn't take a firearm to kill someone. Had the Colo. theater killer instead used a samurai sword, or his fists, would liberals be calling for mass bans on samurai swords, and boxing gloves? I think not. If the theater had allowed legal CHL licensed individuals into the theater, would it have ended quiker? yes i think so.
