Marine Corps Officer (Prior Enlisted) applying for FBI?

First I want to say I know this is far away because I just commissioned in February and am currently waiting on my orders for The Basic School. I know I should really just worry about TBS and of course my time of duty first. But anyway I'm extremely interested in applying for the FBI after my 4.5 year contract and I have a few questions. I'm hoping for Ground Intelligence or Infantry so I can later go Recon as my MOS, but of course they end up choosing for you. Well, I was wondering if your MOS plays a big part or not in getting accepted into the FBI. I have a Masters degree in Civil Engineering, and I was also wondering if that could hurt my chances since the FBI is looking for people with Accounting, Law or Criminal Justice Degrees. And lastly would being an MP be a good MOS to get into the Academy? Thank you for your time and input.

Forget cj, does not help anyone get into the FBI or any other Fed LE except ICE and not as an agent.
Accounting with some experience doing things like auditing, great.
civil engineering will help. While not normally looked for like accounting or law they can find some expertise to be useful for investigation. You also some actual experience, don't have to build a bridge but something.

Intelligence work in the service can, but may not, count towards the 4 years of investigative work they like to see.

lastly MP will not help in any way, shape or form for FBI
MP will not help with any other FED LE.

Try not to limit yourself to FBI. Lots of other Fed units, even the real NCIS, do interesting work
