Regarding Missouri landlord tenant laws or precidents: when a building changes ownership, is there a timeframe on letting tenants know this has happened (especially when rent checks must be written to a new lessor)? Called government offices, read lease agreements… still not finding this answer.

There is no timeframe on this. Generally, when the new owner wants checks written to him/her they will let the tenants know.
