My Employer Haqs Taken $ From My Last 2 Checks For Insurance That They Have Not Finalized...thus, No Coverage...legal ?

This is a franchise organization that has just been open for just over 90 days...my last two(bi-weekly) checks have had deductions for insurance coverage, but I've received no card or group numbers or something proving coverage...they say their "deal" with the insurance coverage organization is not "finalized", are they allowed to take funds from my checks for insurance coverage w/o truly delivering the insurance?

He obviously is doing this to help finalize the deal. But that you aren't getting anything for the premiums means he is stealing money from you. You've "paid" the membership but haven't any privileges of membership, which is theft, which is illegal. DO NOT talk to your boss. Your complaint is with your state's labor relations board.
