and doesn't have a good punch isn't a fighter, then just threatening someone is only 50% a crime. if you don't act on your word's and don't have the ability to cause bodily harm, then you can't be arrested, people are only arrested if a)they continue to upset people and be a nuiscanse and b) if you physically hurt someone c)threats are against the law even online d)lying about hurting someone is probably against the law.

if you're allready in the process of moving on, no longer in contact with the people involved, have no intention of hurting anyone, have stopped talking to the people involved, then can you still be caution or arrested. if you've realised the mistake and deal with it by ignoring the people involved and not getting involved with them.

therefor if i've allready made threats too and spoken to or upset, broken off contact with the people i've threatened and upset and stopped talking to them, continue to stop talking to them, never talk to them again and move on

did i have intentions of carrying out any violence = no i didn't or don't intend on hurting anyone
do i have the ability to hurt or harm anyone = no i'm skinny and weak and wouldn't hurt a fly
do i have intent on following up on my word = no i said the thing's i said because they boy's annoyed me and i have no intentions of going to the pub, talking to the girl or the boys again. i've moved on. my facebook is being deactivated and deleted anyway. i'm banned by my parent's from using it, i'm not allowed to use social networking sites anymore
do my brothers intend on hurting anyone = no there not involved in this. i just mentioned them. to scare the boys off, because they were being bullies and they had been bullying me for six hours.
does anybody else mentioned in this intend on causing any harm = no because when i mentioned other people. i lied to scare the boys off. i've never contacted anybody else about this apart from my family

can i be cautioned for the thing's i've said because i don't intend on following up on any of my words. you can't arrest someone if there not going to cause physical harm.

Yes, you can be cautioned. As H J Simpson once complained, you get judged by the things you've said and done.

You can not only "be cautioned" you can be arrested and charged with a crime.

In the US it does not matter who made the threats, only that they were made. Saying that you will cause harm would cause a reasonable person to think you will cause harm. Mentioning the brothers makes the threat more real and because you are showing that you have the help you will need to carry them out. That's all the law needs.

Your logic would suggest then, that a man who is emotionally and psychologically but not physically, abusing his wife should not be punished because he hasn't touched her.

Your logic would also suggest that skinny people can not commit a violent crime.

Your logic would also suggest that a fat person could not commit a violent crime, as they would be incapable of running away.

Your logic would also suggest that people only commit crime using their bare hands and not with weapons.

Your logic would also suggest that a person who bullies someone, and then that someone goes to self harm his or her self or commits suicide because of what was said has no responsibility whatsoever for the outcome.

Your logic would also suggest that if a man told the police he was about to blow up the Houses of Parliament then the police should do nothing about it because the event has not happened yet.

You are guilty of assault if you threaten someone in order to intimidate or cause them fear -- you don't have to physically "assault " them to be charged.

If you physically assault someone, it becomes the old charge of "assault and battery" -- or today , ABH or GBH.

PS : Your family sound like neanderthals
