My girlfriend is in a group home she is 17 what can i do for her?

my girlfriend was adopted because her mother was abusive and her father had a drug problem she was adopted by a family who is nice but one of their children hates her and lied to get her out of the house she is now in a group home and will be for the next three months she will be 18 in december at that time she is going to live with me but i want to know what i can do now to keep her from having to stay where she is i cant see her because she is not allowed to go anywhere and we live in massachusetts and i dont know what the law is regarding situations like this if such a law exists
