My husband recently found out he will deploy overseas at the very beginning of May. We are already stretched really thin on time and our stress levels are high as it is with both of us taking online courses at night with one computer and a 3 month old baby. Now that he is getting deployed (our first deployment) and I'm moving back home, my stress level has reached it's max. I really want to drop a class or two to lighten our load, but I don't want to get penalized for it or have to repay MyCaa in full and out of pocket right now. Is there any law/rule/act/clause/etc out there than can allow me to withdraw from my classes mid-semester without penalty due to his orders to deploy? What about my husband? Can he do the same?
With his orders and a little luck he might be able to, but I am nearly certain you will have to eat yours. In all likelihood they will expect you to complete your courses no matter what.
Aside of that, I wish you and your family the very best and appreciate the sacrifice your family is about to make.
