My lil brother got caught with many bags of weed while?

hanging out in new jersey he from nyc...he scared he getting jail time how strict is nj on this, they trying to say he was distributing near school and so on it b.s. he just a major weed head he is 26 years old first offense he happens to look like a hip hop rapper and be puerto rican thats why they had stop him and his friend his feriend got lucky he only had one bag and he scared talking about the cops told he was facing 2 month if he didnt snitch where he got same with my lil bro they said he would get close to a year if he didnt snitch whats the truth i say maybe community service rehab probation its both they first offense i dont know about drug laws i only drank a was never into weed thx

Weed is not a drug. Its grow naturally no man made bushit in it like crack, cocaine, meth, heroin which man mad with chemicals and shitt. just a natural pant

your Bro does NOt deserve punishment like what it sounds like. he will have to go to rehab most likely and prob will serve the time from how it looks but its bushitt in my opinior.take it easy

We have major problems in this nation due to drug abuse, uneven prosecution, unable to manage medical marijuana humanely.

The best thing for your brother is to have the book thrown at him, spend a decade in prison, to get his head turned on right to understand the value of freedom, and the responsibilities of an adult. If instead he gets off lightly, it might not teach him how screwed up his life decisions have been.

I would suggest that you stop trying to justify your little brothers inability to follow the laws that have been created to protect the masses and let him spend some time in jail reflecting upon his actions. (Honesty will go a long way with a judge)

While he is doing that I would suggest you figure out how you are going to become a better role model for your little brother and help him from doing something like this in the future. You apparently knew about his drug problem before hand, so why did you wait to do something about it until its to late.

Dont listen to the gung ho idiots on here. They dont know what its like to be anything but a nazi douchebag who feels they must insult and wish harm upon reletively normal people.

Your brother needs a lawyer, plain and simple. Also, how much pot was it? Five grams? More? An Ounce?

Two months isnt anything, and if he hasnt been in trouble before he will more than likely face probation and rehab.
