She'd blood on her behalf hair. I was originally told by them she ought to have bitten her tongue. Athome, I understood she broke her tooth. I will need to have certainly to get her to your vet. Is not the groomers libel for the vet bill?(Since she'd to remain overnight in the veterans this previous year for contamination, she does not let the groomer get in touch with her. While they groomed final time they'd SHE is held by ME. This time about they did not want to accomplish it period right after they attempted a number of times.)

I do not want to give you ugly imagery, but they probably held her mouth shut with clamped fingers and much force while grooming her. The cat might have pushed and resisted, or they might have squeezed also hard -- whatever. It really is not expert handling, and if they hang a shingle and take money, you bet they're accountable. If they are licensed and accredited in some way, they must have known how to subdue or sedate a cat and groom 1 without causing injury, trauma, or even significantly pressure. Pros can comfortably subdue nearly any animal and win its trust -- or at least gentle submission -- without having force.

I feel for your girl Mr_M is she alright?   The groomer is accountable for their actions, you bring your girl in with no wellness difficulties and a healthier case of cattitude they apparently can not cope with. They are accountable for all vet bills even if you did leave the salon and find out later the correct story!   If they do not and ignore your request take em to court and go for it, try for discomfort and suffering also on her component. Just since your girl can't complain does not mean she is not in discomfort, it prevents her from consuming properly and I assume it was 1 of the canines that broke!? This is even worse as she wants it to tear the steak pieces or raw chicken you feed her as treats! I really do not know if you do or not, mine get that treat each and every week. It really is an added effect for the Judges selection..:@)   I know what my boy went via just following we adopted him and noticed he had problems, the shelter vet did not catch it in the course of his verify up. He had a broke canine and the appropriate side upper and reduce were so poor our vet had to get rid of the teeth. He is a lot greater now and utilised to 1 side but we could see his pain ahead of his surgery that's why I recommend pain and suffering!   It's undoubtedly time to appear for a new groomer that will treat your girl proper, they mishandled her or she would not have a broken tooth. This may border on animal abuse due to the fact they lost patience with her, they could have caused far more damage than that, the blood almost certainly scared em.   We adopted the boy left two years ago he was thirteen when he had his dental completed. The girl left we just adopted Sunday prior to Thanksgiving she is 1 year of age. Both have been removed from properties for abuse!

I hope so!! Poor kitty... That's horrible what occurred to your cat Mr_M... I would consider that the fact that your cat was most likely held by force and they hurt her while attempting to hold her nonetheless so they could groom her.. If they are pros then they need to know greater than to use force on a customers animal.. They're the lead to of your cat acquiring hurt, and they should be the ones to pay for the vet bill.. Have been with there with your kitty to see them try holding her? Did they seem aggressive towards your cat when she would not hold nevertheless for them? If so, then there's no doubt that they're responsible for it and need to pay.. wildhorses99 61 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment. Please confirm your account to give a compliment. Hi - I can see if the groomer cut your cat with the razor or clippers.  If they would not let you hold you cat then you could have walked out.  YOU could have taken your cat to another groomer.  Also, the vet office can medicate the cat for anxiety and do the grooming right at the office. So, yes the groomer should have let you stay but not liable for a broken tooth.  This is out of the ordinary.... YOU can ask for them to pay for the tooth but I bet they will not do it.   Sorry, Next time have a vet take care of this anxious little one. So sorry about this!   Marie Peppers / Ask the Pet Nurse  (The Doggie Chalet Hotel)   http://www.apluspetcare.com   All Experts Articles:     Boston T. Definately they should be held responsible! Whether or not you would have to take it to small claims court remains to be seen,....I sure wouldn't go back to them, especially since they seem to be incompetent. How in the heck can you break a cat's tooth while grooming? And they didn't know the blood was there? I'm wondering if since kitty wasn't easy to groom, they took it out on her....as for biting her tongue, unless they clamped her mouth shut, I'm sure the cat would know not to hurt herself. Something is fishy here.
