My manager screams and yells at me (and everybody else) constantly. Is this legal? What are the labor laws?

I work at super classy Wendy's Hamburgers in Illinois and a new manager has come in recently who has destroyed the once somewhat pleasant work environment. She is constantly yelling at everyone making them feel awful, even when they are doing a good job. Although I can't necessarily think of anything specific to single anyone out by calling them idiots, or other derogatory names, she is extremely rude to the other workers and makes everyone uncomfortable. She treats us like everything we are doing is wrong and is always picking at the things I do telling me I need to do this and that, and then when I do what she wants, she turns around the says the opposite.

Her constant yelling and lac of professionalism really make me uncomfortable and I am not sure what to do. I am nothing but nice to her! Can I tell her not to talk to me like that and threaten to call corporate if she continues? I am at a loss on how to deal with this situation.

Let ms say she lacks professionalism. I feel this has got relevancy with the US Labour law.
