maybe shes suffering from depression? sometimes you have to give an ultimatum (and stick to it) to get someone the help they need. stop running her errands and going places for her. move out so you can have a life of your own and she can start living hers (yes that includes employment). not exactly an intervention but surely you and your sister want to see her get help. having said that, you do not need to be treated badly either so put yourself in a positive place...keep us posted!

It sounds like she's gone a bit mad since your father's death. Once you're 18, you might see about having her committed to a psychiatric facility. Even against her will if she's abusing you and your sister (which this sounds like abuse) then you CAN legally have it done in most countries. She may need some help. And even though it's hard (I've helped a friend do this), it will be for the best.
