No Job Description

Postby Tearly » Sat May 24, 2014 1:36 am

I work for a large employer in W. Springfield Ma. They

moved me into a position with the title Special Project Assistant.  I have been told to work for 2 different bosses while also running and doing tasks for other depts(not by choice!). I asked for a job description and have not received one from HR(they didn't respond to my email). Is this legal?

Thanks,

Mary

No Job Description

It is nice to have a job description, but some companies do not have them. Job Descripitons are not mandatory.

This means that job descriptions are something withing the company and the law does not say that a company or a job must have a job description so it is not illegal not to have one.
