I'm for preserving 2nd amendment rights 100%. I am also for tougher access to keep wackos from getting firearms (or knives, chainsaws, axes for that matter.)

However, saying that sounds good and all, but how are you going to implement it without punishing perfectly sane and law abiding people? Everybody agrees there is a problem, but nobody seems to offer any viable solutions.

All they need to do is treat it the same way they do when somebody wants to buy hypochlorous acid or cough syrup, both used in making meth, or vicodin with a prescription. If they screened and kept tract of people buying guns the way they do for those, there would be no problem
