Ohio - is it time for Fix or Fight?

Postby eilis » Mon Aug 11, 1980 9:51 pm

Do we need a fighter or fixer in the White House? Clinton says she is ready to fight for America - she has been fighting in Washington for 15 years; most often in support of big business and at the expense of low income families. She supported the bankruptcy law that has devastated thousands of middle class and low income families. She has been fighting to get her health bill passed with no success. That is what is wrong with our political circus; they fight each other and accomplish nothing!! Do we need to send a fighter to the White House or do we need to send someone who is ready to clean up the mess three previous presidents has left behind? Fighters belong in the alleys not in the White House!

Ohio - is it time for Fix or Fight?

This question would probably be better addressed to one of the political groups but it is a good question. American families need to take a stand now while they have some control over who will be making the decisions in the White House for the next four years. We can not ignore the problems we have, allow the wrong person into the White House, then complain because everything is a mess. We have ignored the Washington mess for too long; we need to be sure the next president is someone who can FIX the problems; not someone who thinks they can go into Washington and fight their way through to success; the White House, Congress and the Senate have been fighting with each other for years and accomplished nothing. We need a president who can get everyone working toward the common good of the nation, not their own interests or the interests of their party but for all of America.

Wrong area friend. This is not a question, but a political statement in support of a candidate. America has too many people (on both sides of the isle) who don't understand more than the 15 second sound bites that newspeople feed them.

Yay, Hillary! I'm in Ohio, and I'm voting for Hillary Clinton! Don't know why this is in this section, though.
