Ohio Struck Down What The Law States That Restricted Union Privileges. Is The Tide Turning? Have Persons Lastly Had 'enuf' Of Extremeism?

We've been rapidly implementing Taliban-like laws that infringe on individual liberties in the name of faux libertarianism and anti-government changing broad based human rights with one particular party's totalitarian strict laws. This is larger than merely Ohio and unions. It is happening over the nation.

You may want, but I noticed that Washington finally changed out their state-run liquor shops, which came to a government-run organization. Such communist exercise fails, as state-run liquor income normally do(consumers merely contemplate their company and tax dollars nearby.) That price Costco, I am informed, $six/voter. I do not hold on a lot count on us folks undertaking it the appropriate way. We are also effortlessly tricked by Mr. Sleek.   danielpauldavis 25 weeks previously

There appears to be a double-standard in play here. A while ago states like Oklahoma and a few others were bemoaning about Sharia law being imposed on its citizens by attempting to pass legislation to prevent it. And yet, they seem to have no compunction when it comes to imposing their version of a substitute on their fellow Americans who vehemently disagree.   rhine44 25 months ago

Yes, and it carries out in the OWS crowds. Hooray for the Unions; they've been beat up since Ronald Reagan fired the air controllers. Also, in Mississippi, the "personhood" bill that suggests sperm and egg becomes a person at conception was defeated. That would have meant no birth control, no invitro fertilization, no abortion for rape. Hooray for common sense. The president got the message and the tide is turning.   MaryAnn 25 months ago

We've had enough of the GOP doing whatever the hell they feel like doing, here in Ohio." The divisive campaign has raised questions about whether Kasich -- who has pushed through a number of controversial initiatives with the help of compliant GOP lawmakers -- will have as much success next year in accomplishing his policy goals. *http://www.cleveland.com/politics/index.ssf/2011/11/ohio_voters_overwhelmingly_rej.html   TurboB 25 months ago http://www.cleveland.com/politics/index.ssf/2011/11/ohio_voters_overwhelmingly_rej.html

you are generalizing a bit more than necessary, I think. of course, that illustrates my statement about extremists poisoning the culture. - the extreme members of the sects are the ones people notice.I am reminded of a statement I made about a left wing opinion piece written after Bush appointed a pro-life appointee: I made the comment that according to the particular opinion piece this new appointee was going to outlaw abortion and birth control and then mandate sex for all women over 16.we live in a very reactionary culture, and it is very easy to slip into a reactionary attitude as a result. currently I question whether the IUD(the form of birth control threatened by the "personhood" bill) is a healthy method to use, but I do not consider it murder. I do know women who feel guilt about past abortions, but none who experience persecution over it. I've known catholics who felt more cognitive dissonance over using a condom than the extramarital sex they were engaging in. personally, I feel that if people use the "christian morality" model as a guideline for their OWN sexual activites(and recognize the catholic canon against birth control was based on an incident that was taken COMPLETELY out of context) then we would have a lot less issues and arguments.   TheLightWorks 25 months ago
