Payroll Errors

Postby Drayce » Thu Jun 05, 2014 10:12 am

I work in Wisc. for an airline based in Texas. I(and many other employees) are habitually cheated out of overtime pay. I am constantly not paid for hours worked and paid straight time for hours that should be paid time-and-a-half rate. 1) Can I refuse to work overtime(mandatory and otherwise) until my pay is corrected. 2) Can we file some kind of class action suit or get any kind of judicial action to force the company to deal with this. Currently they just don't care about it.

Thank You in advance for your help.

Payroll Errors

If you all go to Workforce Texas and file a complaint than they will probably do something. My suggestion actually would be for several of you to go talk to an attorney that specializes in Payroll law. You can find an attorney that will talk to you for a free consultation and probably take the case on contingency. That means he gets paid when you get a settlement and his pay will be a percentage of the settlement.
