I'm confused about this - I have always had to show my ID first to register and then before I am allowed to vote. I check in, then I go vote. Is that unique to my state or town? Doesn't everybody have to show ID to prove you still live in the district you are voting in? And if not, why wouldn't we want people to show an ID? I would think that not having ID's would lend itself more to voter fraud.BTW - my answer and question are in no way a reflection on what political party I am a member of or an indication of who I am planning to vote for :) TerriM 15 months ago
