Personal injury lawyer...help?

Ok when i was 6 in July of 2000 i am 17 now about to be 18 this month i was messing around on a hydraulic lift and my right index middle and ring finger got caught in the hydraulic lift it was a penske rental truck they had no safety devices in place the truck was completely off when this happened so based on my understanding that is some type of product liabilty and then i have a medical malpractice case when my fingers were cut off they were all three sewn back on well i was going to therapy for a while and i went to see the doctor one day and he told me that a mistake was made with my middle finger and that it would have to be amputated that is basically what happened

If your injury happened in 2000, you are well beyond the statute of limitations in every state to bring a lawsuit for your injuries. The longest time frame for bringing a suit is in North Dakota & Maine at 6 years.

No one has the answer to this question, since none of us has the file of the accident, the medical reports of your injuries and steps taken after this accident.

You stated in a previous question that you talked to 3 lawyers, who would have the facts and the legal knowledge to give you a "real" legal opinion if you can sue or not. I am guessing you want an answer so that you can avoid paying a lawyer 1/3, if you win.

If you sue anyone, big companies like Penske and hospitals will have plenty of lawyers to defend them. So, you need to either hire a lawyer if your case is winnable, or forget it, if the statute of limitations would bar you from suing.

But,,,,,only a "real" lawyer can advise you, not a stranger on Y/A.
