Question about a Defamation of Character lawsuit??!!?

There are several people I know (3-6) who did similar things to slander and libel me to the point where I lost jobs, lost friends and have to live with an insane hatred. I plan to sue these people for slander and libel but was wondering if I could make one big lawsuit by grouping these people together instead of filing each one seperatly. These people know each other and shared the same motive in destroying my life. Is there a way I sue each of these people at the same time?

P.S. (I saw something similar to this on an episode of Seinfield. i.e. "
Seinfield vs. the Community.")

no you cant sue as a group unless you can proved that they together conspried to defame your name you will be off doing indviual suing

I'm not sure, but I think you'd have to file suit on an individual basis unless somehow you can prove they are officially in some kind of group (like they are all from the same office or something) that did these things you speak of.

Yes i think you can sue them as a group so that they will have to pay equal parts of the order against them. Take them to small claims court and ask the court when you file if it is possible to sue as a group since they all are involved. Then make sure you bring proof with you to court that because of what they said about you caused you to lose your job and friends. Most importantly your job.
